Remember everyone starts at Tier 0 and must apply to Tier 1.

So how would the application format go?
do we post our replays of various techniques expressed and then try to go up a tier? Or are we given techniques to try, giving us a challenge and testing our knowledge of the aikido mods?

Btw love this sort of thing, gets real competitive and usually helps with activity

Read the tiers menu and the requirements.
As far as format goes I dont really care as long as you include whats needed.

For those who want to get into tiers use my app as an example. Simply put the tier applying for and the replays required for that tier. Descriptions would be nice but you don't have too.

Tier 1 App
snapkick - this is an older replay but i start with a straight snapkick to the body scoring good points and follow with a left hook to the head scoring a decap.

basic suplex - I'm not sure if this one will be accepted but after a small hop foward and plant my feet and lift straight back w straight arms.

turnover - i use a stealthy turnover attack from the start

Straight arm suplex. i used a wrist flick to end this one.

Snapkick a snap leg kick.

Turnover. i think this one looks nice.

Did you edit your replays bc they all say uke is your opponent.

I re-named them for clarity I can post original ones when I get home.
i think the second one is different i couldn't find the other one.

The original's are better because they don't lag and i can always figure out which is which anyways. Besides there are ways to rename the file without actually saving it as a new replay.
Anyways these look great! Accepted into T1. Goodluck with T2.


Re-read the requirements it says you have to submit the required techniques that are specific to each tier. Not just anything you want.

Also being that none of the other leaders are active I am accepting myself into T1 after a week of waiting.

I would like to propose that counters be included in advancing tiers. Maybeas an in between tiers. Maybe as a tier 1.5. Or demonstrated as part of a tier advancement. I propose this on the grounds that it shows a clear understanding of the previous tier and Akido principles that go into the move. Plus we can get some counter rpls for the tier menu.
