Connection of FPS and RTS (mostly FPS)
Humans are fighting with aliens. Easy to understand, eh?
Aliens use their claws, barbs, poisons, gas, acid etc. to kill, melt and bit off human's faces.
Humans use machineguns, laser guns, grenades, saws and evul Lucifer Cannon to destroy aliens.
Game is splited into 3 stages, every stage offers new buildings, new weapons (humans) and new classes (aliens).
Aliens have a class, called Granger, humans have a special "weapon", bulding kit, that builds base:
- Main building - Needed to make most actions, like building
- Spawnpoints - required to spawn
- Defence - to make enemies don't get near
- Support - like health boosting buildings
Humans must repair buildings with kit, aliens buildings are alive, so they heal themselves slowly.
Aliens use evolution points to get better classes, Humans use Credits to buy weapons. Ammunition for human weapons is free.
Aliens can start with Dretch (little spider-like alien, that can make big problems) or with Granger (builder) in 1st stage. They can evolve into basilisk (Small, grabbing enemy with low damage) for 1 evo point.
For 2 they can evolve into Marauder (medium-sized monster that jumps incredibly fast) or into Dragoon (Kinda giant spider that have big amount of HP, high dmg and jumps high)for 3. In 2nd stage, they can start as adv. granger, and evolve into adv. basilisk (can spread gas) for 2, adv. marauder (can zap with electricity) for 3.
In 3rd stage they get most powerful units : Advanced Dragoon (Can shoot 3 deadly barbs) and Tyrant (Huge alien with huge damage, huge amount of hitpoints, huge speed etc.).
Okay, I made an essay about aliens, but you should learn about humans ingame (I don't have time to write about humans, else any1 won't read it xD).

Tremulous looks pretty cool. I might try it out... It reminds me of the Quake games, in a way, so it can't be too bad.
