Why are the two amount-of-people-online readings on the top of the page and at the bottom of the toribash homepage usually out of sync? And what is the difference between them, if there is one?

the screenshot I took of these was at the same time, btw

The top is the amount of people in-game playing and the bottom is the amount of people online on the forums.
