As some of you who've visited the Wolfire site know, one of the developers (Mr. John Graham) had grown a beard a while back and said he wouldn't shave it until all of the basic gameplay elements for Overgrowth were developed and running correctly.
Unfortunately the Wolfire team seems to have made rapid progress and Overgrowth is turning out to be no Duke Nukem Forever. The loss of the Beard (affectionately referred to as Jacob by some people) might destabilize the world, but not if John dyes it pink first, in support of breast cancer awareness month.
Which isn't actually December but petitions have to have some kind of goal and I threw that up as an excuse.
