I couldnt really be bothered to look for the old thread but here is one of my replays of a 9 frame dismember with no grab. I got this back when I was attempting a 10 frame decap.

I guess there's no way to prove that its impossible, just like scientology, God, or invisible pink unicorns. However, I stand by my statement that without changing the settings, 8 frame hits are impossible.

Here is an 8 frame dismemberment. I edited this off an old replay so it might be glitchy. You might wanna check it.
