I Know there is already IRC but i think that a chat box thing like what ethr has on their website would be good because it would be easier to find if you are new to Toribash and there could also be a Mumble/TeamSpeak Toribash server.

Yeah this would nice, it would provide quick access to other users, more practical than irc, and I feel like it would cut down on the spam in clan threads.

You can chat in-game, no need for another chat. People can talk on the forums and also in-game. Also, clan threads are supposed to be talk in, they also have IRC channels or they share skypes or any other programs. Not supported

Maybe an official clan can purchase a shoutbox in addition to a private clanboard? I think that would be less of a hassle than sitting in an IRC all day.

Thats the type of idea i was thinking of.
