If you want to explore and have no idea what you're doing, go check out the Hidden Wiki which is easily accessible through TOR. The only site I've actually bothered checking more than once is Silk Road :P

It's not all it is cracked up to be at first. Pretty gruesome stuff if you visit the wrong places though.(Don't visit the wrong places.) Otherwise there's some deeply intriguing although mostly unethical stuff if You feel like taking a visit through a proxy or tor

If it wasn't for the Hidden Wiki, basically we would all be swimming around in public records, random documents, and other useless information not relevant to you and/or will not effect you in anyway during your lifetime. Feel free to dive right in, just don't buy anything, hire anyone, or create any sort of message with someone else. Once you do that, your safety may or may not remain secure from what I can guarantee. Besides, you can't get into serious trouble while using TOR and following what I said above. You need a Closed Shell System and possibly upgraded hardware to do that.
