Yes sorry, should have phrased that better.

Since its a japanese word, we should use the japanese pronounciation in sentence structure and use an accordingly

"A" and "An" are English, I personally say it the way the japanese say it because I am referencing a Japanese word.

Any words (when speaking English) beginning with a vowel in the English language, aeiou, you would say "an".

Examples: An apple, an acorn
It would work with banana, "an banana" sounds silly, so just apply it to that if you're speaking English but referencing a Japanese word in an English sentence
Neither since it's a name

It's more a term than a name; Tori is the one who lands a successful attack and the Uke is the other person in Judo, and the terms are swapped over for Aikido
I pronounce it "oo-ck". I used to pronounce it Yuke, but then got lazy and just started pronouncing it like I do now.
Rescudo is the only sentient being in the server-iRookie
Apply for (Ne)
ive always said Uke as "Yukki" for some reason. Uke actually looks better now that I hear it.

anyways, if it is how they pronounce it Japanese wise. It should be "an Uke".

"Dear reader, I hope this email finds you before I do."
"an"

you use "an" before a word that starts with a vowel

it doesn't matter that uke's a japanese word, we're using english
