Having a legacy menu option would be greatly appreciated, I feel as though the new menu is too busy for me. Having an extra option for events in the legacy menu that brings the current menu up is an option to keep current implementations. I also think a small button for daily login towards the edge of the screen would be a good way to keep that feature accessible with the legacy menu active.

You can enable legacy menu by starting Toribash with "-newmenu 0" launch option or by modifying your custom.cfg file manually.
Legacy menu isn't going to get updated and will not support events, modern tutorials, login rewards, etc.

I fail to find the "custom.cfg" file in my game folder, also, the "-newmenu 0" also doesn't work for me
