As the title says.

I think it's been an issue ever since ranked was implemented that the most skilled players have no desire to play ranked matches because the large reward for season end can be earned over a much shorter time if they go into duels. Add that to the time requirements to get the highest ranks and players like that don't bother with ranked at all.


So what if those players were given the option of dueling and gaining ranked? I think this would incentivise players that usually avoid ranked to climb and move towards the number 1 spot giving a more accurate and competitive ranked mode. So I'm suggesting to add duels to the list of options for ranked gameplay and perhaps even give a higher weight to dueling games because there's more risk involved.
