hmm i guess changing whats controlling what counts toward progress of a certain achievement but hey what do i know, just a thought.

i believe the same as you,that it's as easy as renaming the old
values in the forum database,but since there is no official answer,
we can't know for sure.

This has bean a thing in years...
Imo things could be done like this.
Have 2 categorys of achivements.
First is the category with achivements everybody can get( full sets, decaps, 1000 games in mods, etc) witch u can complete 100%.
Second category should be special achivents that u get for events, lvp, r2r, mafia, graduation ones etc because u can't get these anymore and it's unfair because nobody can get 100%

Ofc all achivents that make it into first category MUST be fixed!

Second category is more like a collection of what u can gather over the years.
First category is a demonstration of how perseverent u are and how u are ablw to hint the achivements down.

Atm its just a mess there that dosen't serve any purpuse.

another suggestion i have is to remove all the achievements except for the obtainable ones and then starting from scratch.

if you mean the event achievements,
there is no reason to remove them because you can't get them anymore,
perhaps you didn't participate in the event or you weren't even playing
toribash when the event happened.

This is where 2 of my suggestions go,first remove the progress bar,
since there are achievements for winning or losing the same event
(example lamas vs ponies,you can't have both) you can never have
100%.

And secondly,organize the achievements page like in the shop with
drop down columns and achievement categories,this way the page will be uncluttered.

I didn't mean the events. I mean removing the ones like Play something amount of games for a certain thing. those types of achievements dont work so i say get rid of them then replace it with typically the same thing but one that works.

As this thread keeps getting bumped, ill see what i can do an post screens of the progress once i get time. Most likely going to do something similar to what Insanity suggested with a few tweaks.

Achivements are an important part of every game because it sets goals.
Make an obtainable category and a ''fame'', ''prestige'' category

Also the play x games of x mod.
It could be fixed if they don;t have a reset date and if they are creer wise.
I mean play 1000 judo in all your career not in 1 month or whatever it works now.
