Skateboard help?
Ok, I'm pissed.
I'm learning to skateboard, and have the ollie down (proudly learned in a day) and now I'm learning the kickflip.
I've tried over 5 different tutorials, like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubTl3iPPi2o, this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7pu3Okf-IY, this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDxkanTnAKQ, this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfP1Rb3xaCg (for no reason), and this http://skateboard.about.com/od/trick...ToKickflip.htm, and I'm trying this, http://skateboarding.transworld.net/...rigo-peterson/ to see if it works.

I can never land with both feet, it's just my back foot or no foot at all. If anyone knows how to kickflip, can you tell me some tips?

Thanks.

Ok, set your feet up like you are going to olie (front foot about in the middle of the board) crouch down for the olie then olie and flick your foot up twards the concave (make sure when you pop up for the olie you don't stay crouched to long or you wont flick right, also don't crouch really low.). Don't flick the board down like your kicking it flick it up kinda twards the front and make sure your foot is tilted at a / <like that so you can flip it right. Also don't think you are going to fall, let it flow under you and keep your feet up and at the right time land on the black top. You will get it eventually just don't give up.
Screw the tutorials, just fiddle with it until its done, there is no surefire way to get a trick done with those mods, unless you wanna replicate a replay 1 by 1, which is lame...

Edit: oh, this ain't toribash related....uh....try some more anyway. Maybe start with a shove it first, might be easier for a starters trick. ( took me 2 years to learn how to kickflip and now its my fav...) Sometimes it just takes some time.

Well actually its like pretty long ago since I learned the kickflip
(skating until today ), but just try these tutorials that were shown to you on flat gras instead of an road its harder to flip but you dont have the fear to fail at landing it makes the learning of flip tricks much easier for you at the beginning.

When youre flippin the board try to get both of your legs as high as possible so you can land on both feet

hope that helps

^What I was going to say - Learn it in short grass
The kickflip - start out as an ollie but place the foot your kicking with a little back outside the board and when you ollie, instead of sliding your foot straight up - try and slide it out in a turning way as to kick the corner of the board so it'll flip.
Practice makes perfect - you'll eventually learn
