Will there be character customization in bf 4?

In the beginning of this (around 0:13) it shows some pretty interesting soldiers, which makes me think there IS indeed character customization. The pre-alpha doesn't show any of it that I know of.

I'm not a CoD fan boy but I do play them on consoles, and I am looking forward to CoD: Ghosts , I loved both Modern Warfare games and Ghosts is made by the same people.

Also, there's a new CoD: Black ops II map pack coming out that looks fun!
