the idea is pretty god... needs to improve on the technique' shading and maybe by giving a realistic effect instead the cartoonish can look good.

Make the Plate Lines more Dramatic, and the shading a little darker. Will make your head much more better. It looks very 2d right now.

I think you should remove those two random plates and add a fin, if its a shark. Also, make the face look angrier, add more facial expression to stand out more. It needs depth and detail. nice ideas so far.
