How to make a head texture preview? like make the texture into ball shape.... like this

You take a picture of your tori, and you cut and paste it.

That's done by opening the head texture in GIMP and doing Filters>animation>spinny globe.
I think that's right, my GIMP broke. Anyway, from there you can also make it into a spinny globe for previews by saving it as a Gif.

Or if you want a preview as such shown in the picture, do what Solax has said, then after that there should be layers on the newly opened page. You can cut and paste which layers (which will be the angles of the head texture) you want on to a new background (transparent) and save as a .png.
