Ok, first thing first, I have no experience what so ever. I've done some research and know what most of the parts are and what they look like, but nothing in practice.

I'd like to build a budget (~$1000) gaming PC. I want it to be able to run such things as COD, WoW, Crysis etc, flawlessly. If anyone has any tips or guides, or links to any that I maybe haven't seen, please post them.

Just a basic rundown off of the top of my head.

CPU - i5 ~3ghz - $200
GFX - 480 - $350 to $400
Mobo- any 1155 socket - $100 to $150
RAM- 8GB ddr3- 100$
Power supply- ~600W - $70 to $100
Case- you've got 50$ or so to spend there

I dont really feel like going into more detail, just a base for people to give you more details from.
