Maybe it's because you are using some moves that are looked down upon, people get mad quite easily.

Noob means someone who is just simply bad at something even after much experience and/or stupid, whereas 'newb' refers to someone who is new.

Well a noob is someone who is just beginning, and uses beginner moves. If you use a noob clap, shovel, or noob scissors, people would call you a noob because those are beginner tactics, and other beginners will get really angry if you use them.

They might call you a noob because you are inexperienced or you are pissing them off somehow.
