I have been noticing that this tournament has been dead for quite a while.

I suggest maybe raising the prize to maybe 15k, and along with raising the prize you can raise the amount of people needed to start so it evens out the waiting time with the prize amount.

15k is a bit much


15k is more than the average tourney prize hosted by players

Gives incentive to join, and it's better than it being empty all day.
