Who are we?
The ToriAgents are Toribash staff members tasked with preserving the integrity and safety of community interactions. We investigate in-game reports, enforce rules, and oversee clan activities across all Toribash platforms. ToriAgents are trusted to act with consistency and impartiality—helping make the game an enjoyable space for everyone, from newcomers to veterans. But our responsibilities don't end at just issuing infractions or reviewing reports—we're also here to help. Being a ToriAgent means actively engaging with players, offering support, and lending a hand wherever needed. Whether it's assisting beginners, helping players in #support, or clarifying a rule, we're there to keep the gears of the community running smoothly.
Worth considering before you apply...
Let’s keep it real—ToriAgents aren’t always in the spotlight. Most of what we do happens quietly in the background. We're not here for popularity; in fact, being a moderator will most times, make you the bad guy in the eyes of the community. Not everyone is thrilled when they see the name of the person who just infracted them. A lot of the work isn't glamorous. It's combing through walls of chat logs, handling repetitive reports, and often stepping into situations where nobody's happy to see you. You’ll read more heated arguments than heartfelt thanks, and that takes a certain kind of mental endurance.
If you're looking to be liked (or popular), or don't want to read through pages of nonsense, this position isn't for you.
That said, what we do offer is the satisfaction of keeping a community you love safe, fun, and fair—and that’s something worth stepping up for.
What we look for
ToriAgents are defined by three key qualities: Justice, Fairness, and Knowledge.
You should have a strong understanding of the rules and a commitment to enforcing them equally, regardless of your relationship with those involved. You must be the kind of person who can look at a situation impartially, evaluate it based on evidence, and apply the rules without bias or favouritism. We function as a team. We consult each other before making calls, share perspectives, and work together to ensure consistency in our decisions. Helping each other is a core part of what we do—no one’s left to figure it out alone. We value maturity, calm judgment, and the ability to defuse tense situations—not escalate them.

Points are awarded based on your activity and involvement in various moderation tasks. The more complex or time-consuming the task, the more you're rewarded. I feel like I'd be a pretty good fit considering my age within the community and my lack of negative interactions ((mostly due to how quite I've been within the forums)) and thus overall neutral public opinion

Am I able to make edits to my submission per chance? I realized I was very tired and very lax with my responses--- would like to note that I've not been engaged within the community for some years now ((the days of which essence was in its peak)) and thus impartiality is within -- and favoritism lies-- outside of my parameters.
