I don't think that ray-tracing will fix the textures. All the rest of options is enabled, and all other 3D items work ok.
My TB version is 4.95.

:o
my elf doesnt have his clothes ripped like that
The past makes you wanna die out of regret, and future makes you depressed out of anxiety. So by elimination, the present is likely the happiest time.

i have the same problem
Texture seams have been a thing since day 1 - although it's only certain hardware/OS/drivers that cause it.
Not something I can recreate on any of my machines, but avwave had the problem on his Mac from the start.

This item has an A+ seam.

Less obvious on this one, but they're still visible.

So yeah not the tuna's fault, it's just down to the machine failing to handle textures correctly.

Is there anything we can do?
My PC is... decent, I run TB with all of the advanced features on (except Ray Tracing), but my elf's clothes are ripped as well, in the same way as ImEmpty's.
That was really bad sorry.
Someone tell me why this guy is highly respected by some people ???

Well TBH aside from changing your rig there's not much you can do.
Though if we knew what combos of hardware/driver/OS etc were causing it then it'd give something to prod devs with for a fix. The more people giving info the better so then we can narrow it down, after all fixing for one could break it on others.

I have tried recreating it, but even on machines with crappy Intel GPUs I've been unable to get any seam errors.

This is just an idea and correct me if i'm wrong because I really don't know how the item forging works, but i'm assuming that the majority of the items are duplicated and mirrored right(Like the way you would make a texture)? Couldn't you just overlap the objects inside where the seam would be removing the problem?(Would this change the way they look for other people that don't have this problem?)
Again this could be complete bullshit, just a thought.
Back for good.
The "seams" are all where the UV map edges are, so with stuff that has a mirrored texture you find them across the middle; where as for example the propeller cap, there are seams all over it where each texture section is. It's just how unwrapping works.
Seems to be an oddity in how some systems are handling the edges of UV maps, and instead of drawing it to the edge like they should, it kinda mongs out leaving an untextured section.

IMO the easiest way to hide it on paper would be to only join textures in parts where it's hidden, however that isn't always possible. Add that there's increased chances for rendering oddities with lesser hardware if things are hidden internally, and it gets a whole lot more awkward.

Weird that people have only just noticed it happening. Guess that shows how (un)popular previous items were lol
