I listened to a couple of your older tracks, and I think the change in mood and intensity was probably wise - you're certainly improving a bit.
Since you happen to use FL, if you would be interested in improving further I would be willing to chat with you over Discord about it sometime when schedules permit. Although my account doesn't accept friend requests, I'm sure we could find a way to get in touch.
I don't check this forum almost ever, but if you're interested you could join the Obey discord maybe or I'll check this thread again later in the week.
Regardless, good luck with the tunes and nice work on the latest one.
Hey Chesh',
I understand this message wasn't for me at all, but I would just like to quickly express that I would also be deeply interested in consulting you about certain matters pertaining to music, audio in general, signal processing, etc.
I recall our last session, it was quite enjoyable! If possible I would like to have another one in the very near future, although I perfectly understand if your schedule may disallow such a thing, or even if you just don't feel like it, that's okay too.
One thing to quickly denote is the fact that my DAW of choice is Ableton Live 12, but I believe this won't be an issue at all as none of the things I'd like to speak with you about are DAW-exclusive in any sense. I also don't expect you to be familiar with Ableton's interface or anything like that, so if you happen to not be acquainted, don't worry about it as it won't be of relevance.
As of now, I am compiling some particular things I'd like to ask you about as an attempt at better respecting your time and patience, and I will soon be attempting to get in touch with you outside of tb forums, via the Obey discord or potentially through our mutual buddy Fred. This post is a bit of a last resource, just incase all other means of communication somehow fail.

It seems to me like you are doing rather well for yourself, the mixing sounds pretty nice as far as my ears can tell, the ambience is very soothing, the drums feel just punchy enough. Very well!
if I were to pick apart some things I didn't enjoy quite as much, I would point to pattern variety and progression, which aren't necessarily issues with your music per se as it might just be a thing with the genre, but I still deem them somewhat worthy of mention. I just didn't get the impression that the track evolved much beyond the idea that was initially presented and it gets a little repetitive after a while, but that's about it for the negatives I'd say.
Overall, really good job on this one, and your cat is absolutely adorable lol.
