ok i have a ulcer on my tounge its small but kinda big and its under i stopped dipping because of this and im really worried (only been dipping for 4 months) the internets not helping me and this is the first ulcer i got and i have phobias of cancer and yes i smoke and even with this ulcer im worried and i need some medical advice (dear moderators:im really worried about this please dont close this and im asking for everyones help and i couldnt find a better place to put this and as i said befor the internets not helping much, its really scaring me more than i was earlier) but yea just paranoid about this and the ulcer has gotton smaller and alot better but i have my doubts and im a worrier about stuff like this (the ulcer showed up 4 or 5 days ago) can someone please help.

Internet isn't the place you need in this case. If you're really worried - visit a doctor. I think dermatologist would be okay.

I agreed, i smoke and smoked for 9 years, never had this kind of problems, i would recommend a doctor, thats the way you'll know for sure.

Ulcers are commonplace with all humans. It's likely just the after effect of a small cut or scratch in the gum lining of the mouth.

For when I get ulcers or small inflamed cuts in my mouth, I normally take a dab of strong alcohol and apply it straight to the ulcer. It should heal up in a few days after that. If you'd rather, you could also use antiseptic mouthwash like Listerine.

Cold milk in the mouth around the area of the ulcer can also help soothe the pain. Cold water or ice applied before meals can soothe the pain enough for eating.

If it stays for more than week, see your general practitioner but buy the sounds of it, it's going away fine on its own.

I thought people get ulcers all the time.
