OK, when you click Save As, you should be able to expand a textbox that reads "Select File Type". In it you scroll down and select TarGA image as the format, and save the image. If the box with the tickboxes appear, there's not supposed to be a checker on the "RLE Compression" one.

When you're done you copy the file to the Toribash directory and into your head folder, replacing the old one.

Get it now?

Well I guess you can help then... lol. Thats fine, Its still a place for any one to get help if they need it. Please try to restrict the awnsering to PM though plz so this doesn't get cluttered. Srry, but I am trying to save up for some textures for my brother who is a noob.

alrighttt so heres the deal
i downloaded a head this guy gave me and i saved it directly to the place im suppose to put it and then i was told i had to convert it.. so i went to the forum that has a link to convert the picture and i clicked to convert and it and it said this
"Unfortunately, BMP support is currently broken. You can still use GIF, JPG, PNG, TGA and XPM however." and above where is said taht was this but im not sure if this is relevant

Ok, I can think of one simple salution that might help. It sounds like its really a .bmp format. Just copy and paste it to Paint. Then resave it as .jpg Then try to convert it again and see if it works. If it works, save the picture and uplaod the head to your tori from there.
