PLACEHOLDER - Introduction
The OFL is back, stronger than ever! If you guys need a quick recap of the previous season: Kidfury102 (Now known as Shibito and has like 20 other alts) won, also Orc Force is good. This time, things will be a little different. All the previous ways to earn Orc Forces are still here, as well as some new ones. All the info will be further down in the thread.
PLACEHOLDER - Basic Premise
If you guys don't know what OFL is, or need a reminder, here it is. Orc Force League (OFL for short) is an event Link and I hosted at the start of this year. The way it works is we host in-game tournaments and hotseats, and for each win people get small TC amounts, but more importantly than that, they get Orc Forces. And whoever got the most Orc Forces by the end of the event will get even more Orc Forces. Now, at first glance this might seem pointless. In fact, one could argue that you don't need more than one Force of each color. But there is a twist: in a separate thread, we'll be exchanging Orc Forces that you've earned from the event for even cooler prizes! Here is a link to the thread (there will be a link).
PLACEHOLDER - Specific rules
This might seem weird, but the actual Orc Force items don't matter for the scoreboard. We only count the points that you earn from the in-game events. However, to redeem the prizes from the Exchange Thread, you will beed to send us the appropriate amount of Orc Forces. Here's a few key points:
- You can only spend the points that you have on the board.
- You can't trade your points to other people until the event is over.
- The prize exchanges are first come, first served, meaning I will need to send you the Orc Forces back if the item you are requesting has already been redeemed.
- If you get banned once, you may participate on an alt. However, if you get banned again, you will be out of the competition. You can keep the Orc Forces though.
PLACEHOLDER - OFL Affiliates
Last season, I had to host most of the tourneys myself. Maybe it was a good thing, since I've had more control, but man was it exhausting. So this time, I've come up with the affiliates system. Here's how it works:
- People can sign up to be an OFL Affiliate.
- Affiliates can host in-game OFL events.
- Affiliates can choose whether they wanna send the prizes themselves or pass it on to Link and I
- Affiliates on the ES list may host regular ES events with the additional Orc Force prizes.
Now why might one want to become an affiliate? Out of boredom mostly, but there's also a couple perks. If you're looking to become an Event Squad member one day, you get to experience the event hosting first hand without having to spend money on the prizes yourself. And if you do a good job on it, it can for sure be mentioned in your future ES application.
Please do keep in mind that we will not be accepting everyone to be an affiliate, but the bar is significantly lower than that of an ES member.
