Toribash
Toribash has come a long way and feels a lot more engaging thanks to the community. Sure, some might say the game “died” due to a declining player base compared to earlier days, but honestly, the developers and staff have done a commendable job keeping it alive, especially considering they manage the community and game voluntarily.

Sir, in particular, has introduced quite a bit: the battle pass, fun events like Floor is Lava and Blind Fight, and there’s likely much more to come, after all, the possibilities in this game are nearly endless. On top of that, the staff host a variety of other events like Emote Bake-off, Grappler’s Dream, Weekend Bash, and Opener Challenges. There’s a solid mix of categories for everyone to enjoy, not to mention the revamped ranking system. All of these come with impressive prizes that are definitely worth aiming for.

I also noticed they’ve brought on some Nabi employees to work on different parts of the game and community. Regardless of pay, becoming a developer, especially for a niche game, is a solid achievement in itself.

It looks like the staff situation has been addressed too. I’m aware there were issues in the past with certain staff members being power-hungry or just completely out of touch. Hopefully, things have improved, though I’m sure long-time players can weigh in on that better than I can.

And yeah, part of why the community feels better now might just be that a lot of us have grown up well, most of us anyway, lol

Games "dead" but you still have the niche of players that still keep it alive. Which is okay.

Whats off-putting sometimes is the weirdo's in this community whenever I pop in. Other than that, games doing okay, just never will be the "popular" game it once was when we started playing back in the day.
