Try changing your password on the forum, and using the new password ingame.

this has happened to me now what i did was just reset my wireless connection and it worked

I tried reseting my main modem, not my wireless one, I'll try my wireless.

It's a firewall/router problem.

Try opening the ports or adding tb.exe as exception to your firewall.

^I had figured this earlier, which is why I asked if he could play other multiplayer games, but I wasn't sure.
