Two weeks with no posts, guys. You still here?

Yup, still here.

Oh, eight months without activity checks, I was wondering if clan admins/mods were still here.
Apparently they are, and still asking old clans to spam their boards every week.
Good job.

Nobody is asking for spam, we are asking for activity. Do you guys meet or communicate elsewhere? In-game? IRC? An outside/another forum?

Mostly by chat/email and sometimes IRL. Old school, you know.

It's not that, it's just that there is no use for you to have a forum if you don't use it.

We do use it.
We've been asked the very same thing for the last three years, and you can see that we still post on a regular basis. Maybe not every day, maybe not every week, but we're still there.

We've been here since the creation of our clan back in 2009.

And for the last two-three years we have been bothered on a regular basis by several clan admins and mods who went by (are they still here ?), whereas we're still here.

So yes, even if we don't happen to post for two weeks, we are still here.
If at some point we were to dissolve our clan, we would let you guys know that we don't need the board anymore.

Oh and while you're here, who is the moron who did screw with the encoding of the forums ?
You probably don't understand it but if you check the titles and posts from our second page and later, you might notice strange characters which just make all the stuff we posted through the years pretty much not-readable in our language French.

Using a snarky attitude will not help you in any way possible. Having a clan forum is a privilege, not a right. If you don't use your forum as we, as the moderators and admins of the community, see fit, you will not get to keep it. The admins and mods are doing their job by checking in on clans that have a couple weeks with no noticeable activity, and you going on about how "we are still here" is not going to stop us from doing it. And so now we will just keep a particularly close eye on you guys to see if you keep up to the standards that we would like clans to maintain.

As for the problem you are encountering with the languages, even though you are being rude about it, I will have someone look into it. Maybe you should stop trying to be so high and mighty and ask for help next time.
