It's not that surprising.
Normally, people always thought that if you can do things better than other people, you will fare normally against those with the same level as you, and thus they will give you some problem that usually give these same people trouble.
In short, it's hard for the sake of being hard.

Failing in comp isn't that bad

Well, some of my friends and me have been chosen to be a representative of my school.
It was "Majestic Olympiad Thing", we are forced to study all lessons from 7th, 8th, and 9th grade (I was still a 7th).
For a week. Studying 7th, 8th, and 9th grade material for a fucking week.
Yeah, it turns out bad. Really bad. But we didn't care.

The event it self was held by some kind of company like Primagama, etc.
I already know the motive of that program.
