Edit: I believe sir at least owes an apology for handling the situation this way. Everyone knows that Fire wasn't in the wrong in the slightest.

Genuinely asking. Include gender on tb profiles and that might help the situation if it genuinely ruined someone's day and potentially even life it seems. I have a clean ban record and if I am gonna get banned for saying bro im gonna be really sad.

I could see it being possible you feel that you're sure thats NOT how it was intended to be read.
I also think anyone being sure of someone else's intention in a statement is a wreckless position for a moderator.
I can admit I wasn't present and I dont personally know the involved parties enough to have a perfect perspective on the context, however, I can concieve of a world where a moderator and a complaintant might have a relationship that is swaying a decision or perspective on remarks made.
What I posit is that I don't see that being fair or consistent moderation.
