[Promo Team]Michael Jackson Tribute
Michael Jackson Tribute

Premise

As many of you already know, Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, has passed away due to cardiac arrest. So in his honor, the promo team has decided to host a competition for the best overall toribash-themed Michael Jackson Tribute! Your entry can be anything you want it to be...it could be a picture, a video, or even a mod! The only restriction is that it must be toribash related.

Rules

1. Your work must be original...stealing is a big no-no!
2. Your work must be made for this contest, no using previously made work!
3. The Tribute must be somehow toribash themed! (If it's a video the choreography should be in toribash, a picture's posing should be in toribash, etc...)
4. No pornography. (For the love of god, I shouldn't have to say that...)

Entrance

All work MUST be completed by July 16th, 2009 at 12:00 GMT! Nothing will be accepted after that! For finding out what time 12:00 GMT is in your time, click here. All work will be submitted in this thread...files can be uploaded to video and image hosting sites like youtube and photobucket, upload sites like box.net, or if possible straight to the toribash forum (depending on filetype this may or may not be possible).

Judging

There will be three judges, all of whom will be grading on challenge, originality, creativity, and overall presentation. Each of those scores will be out of a total of 100 points, except for the "overall presentation" category, which is worth 150 points; that brings the total maximum score to 450 points. The three judges' scores will then be averaged together to get your final score. In the end, the three people with the highest averaged scores will win!

Judging Criteria Explained

Challenge:
Yes, I'm aware this one is a bit more subjective, but you will be awarded points based on challenge. The task you chose to complete and the manner in which you did it will be assigned a grade. For example, a crappy video compilation job that looks like it was thrown together in five minutes will be worth much less in this category than a photo editing job that took hours of careful, tedious manipulation.

Originiality:
Is your idea original, or is it something everybody is going to do? You will lose points in this category if your idea is something I million other people submitted...this category can work to your advantage too though. If your contribution looks like not a lot of effort was put into it, but it's a super original idea nobody else would have thought of then you can still get a high mark in this category.

Creativity:
How was your idea carried out? Did you take a seemingly unoriginal idea but present it in a highly creative way? That's what this category is all about...theoretically, you could even receive a low originality score, but get a high creativity score because of the way it was presented.

Overall Presentation:
How does it look? This category will be grading based on the overall appearance of your final project. This is, of course, a rather significant category, as the overall appearance is the first thing anybody notices when they look at something. Because of that, this category will be worth 150 points instead of just 100.

I'm pretty sure it goes either way, but I suppose it did morph to being just "king" near the end of his career.
I will be on this once I get on my computer.
