Hey, I have recently not been able to play toribash as it will not run.

I start it up and it comes up with an error then closes. It does this every time I try.

In what way might I be able to fix it? I have tried to seek assistance in #Support but no one is ever on. All I've been asked so far is what does the stdder file say. And it just says "failed to open history.log".

I would really appreciate some advice.

Have you tried both .exe's in the toribash folder?
tb.exe
and
toribash.exe?
Try them both.

you need to re download it.

If this just happened when you used 3.9, re-download it and re-install it like what hhu80 said.

I've tried both tb.exe and Toribash.exe

I've also tried re-downloading. Still the same issue arises.

hurmm, your hardware is probably not up to scratch then.

I have installed all updates. And TB was working like 4 months ago. It's weird.

We talked on IRC and it seems to be a write permissions error, eventually toribash is complaining it can't read history.log and deleting it doesn't help, so it sounds to me like toribash can't write properly. I don't know how to fix this, anyone else?
