anti humor has looped through so many layers of irony that I feel like we convince ourselves shit is funny just to cope with the fact that this generation's idea of humor is slowly deteriorating
such is the case with any meaningless or innately non comedic concept I think if used sparingly it can be funny just out of pure absurdity but this shit has been milked to death and I genuinely do not think I will ever see this number the same again

could prolly say the same abt nearly every meme seen in the past 10 or 100 years tbh all of us were laughing at deep fried memes and some of us were posting on r slash pewdiepiesubmissions so i mean is it getting Worse or is it really the same as ever

what i mean to say is that 67 isnt necessarily representative of a cultural "decline" or whatever at least not any more than the trends that preceded it
i suppose that plenty of us are older now thus not in the demographic so i can understand where a lot of the bitterness comes from
of course it sucks that internet culture as a whole is now (and has been) so dependent on a tired form of irony and cynicism but i cant even say this is a new low its just more of the same
imo its not that its getting worse its that its not getting better and not anytime soon

I don’t know man I feel like we at least regressed a little mostly because I don’t think I’ve seen memes similar in meaningless absurdity to 67 like that E markiplier meme last this long
and comparing memes of the past to memes now seems disingenuous because the internet has evolved far past eras like the late 2000’s where silly shit like 67 can reach a wider range of people and be stretched in facets that weren’t really being done before
