Here's something you probably didn't know: That story you heard about the pilgrims peacefully coming to America and the Indians teaching them how to farm and what not, was a lie. The pilgrims actually came and raided and stole from the Indian village, took Squanto and sold him into slavery. Someone later broke Squanto out and took him back to his village where he found that he was the only one left alive from his tribe. The Pilgrims shot the Indians and the ones that were left alive later died of diseases. Squanto had no choice but to go back to the pilgrims and teach them how to farm.
