Are there any free programs that are really good for recording fights?

I tried fraps, didn't like it, are there other programs people are using?

Well, all I know of is Fraps, but what's wrong with Fraps? It seems great to me.

There are many screen capture programs which yo can scale down the recording stage to your toribash window.

Some of them include:

Camtasia
Hypercam
Screen Recorder

well, first of all I didn't like fraps because it had a 30 sec timer unless you bought the whole thing.

Second of all it didn't record well, my computer would slow down when I pressed record, and it left black splotches in the recording.

But I didn't mess around with settings so that could have been part of it.

Didn't toribash used to have an F- keystroke command to record stuff?

I thought he asked for free video capture programs.
Hypercam isn't free as far as I know. I don't know about those other two.

Hyper cam IS free.

Camtasia has a good 30 day trial without a watermark. So... If you get all of your recording within that time limit then your set.

You can use movie.lua, which is in the scripts folder.

The ffmpeg.exe file that's in the bin folder when you install Toribash is corrupted for some reason and fails to make the video file.

Well, I think fraps is quite good, and most replays arnt over 30 seconds.... But you can always get fraps... nvm don't wanna get in troubles
