Any hero will be good if used properly

I use Ruby and Bane in ranked games, iirc they're free. and as you can see with my winrate, I win alot. They're not "in the meta" by any means, but if you know how to use them they're really good.

Ruby can effectively stun the entire enemy team for 3 seconds if you can use her ultimate correctly.

Bane can deal up to 8k damage (That's killing the entire enemy team) if you land all your skills.

btw, there are also double bp boosters the game gives away for free, if you just grind matches in ranked or classic you can buy a new hero in a week. It's not that difficult.

Just find a hero you like and one that you're willing to learn. But I do suggest you don't pink insta ban heroes or commonly banned heroes like Natalia, Selena, Helcurt, etc
