black cleaver gives 45armor reduction over 3 attacks.
last whisper gives constanst 40%
not to mention Last whisper being cheaper and you actually have to attack 3 times to apply the armor pen on black cleaver.
this resulting in that Last Whisper being better in any situation

AP Varus is so much fun to play. Holy shit. Get nashors/malady first into Deathcap/Abyssal and the burst you do is crazy.
3 AA's > Ult will take someone to about 50% hp just like that due to the burst. Perfect combos include 3 AA's > Q/E/R > 3 AA's > Q/E/R > 3 AA's > Q/E/R. His damage and combos look really easy on paper but he is incredible hard to pull off in game.
He has no escapes, and being a burst mage its quite hard to do anything. He has low range due to his 550 range. And he is really item dependant due to AD carries having weak early game stats and base stats due to the power growth they get through items.
AP Varus is fun, no where near viable.

i'm talking about the current black cleaver. i said nothing about it being remade and i already knew that. And in it's current state it's fucking useless.
The new one looks really good and viable for the ad casters like talon, garen and pantheon

BC is an amazing item early game (the current one) but falls off really fast, so its better to get IE/BT first on AD carries. Ontop of that, the damage output from IE/BT doesn't fall off whereas BC damage does.
