Hello all, I've decided to comeback to toribash and do some more texturing <3

in the process of selecting what I would be doing, I thought of Pate5's plate style, which I've seen nowhere anymore.

WIP1





This is around.. 20% done, it's still very blurry in some edges, shading is not complete (obviously). and so on.


WIP2:



Around 40% completed.


WIP3:



Let's say it's 50-55% done ;P

WIP4:




Programm used: Photoshop CS6

Time spent WIP1: 1 and half hour (1: 30)
Time spent WIP2: 2 Hours
Time spent WIP3: 2 Hours and a half (2: 30)
Time spent WIP4: 2 Hours and 15 minutes (2:15)
...

Time spent Overall: 8 Hours and 15 minutes (more or less)

its quite reminiscent of his 2008ish style, but it will need a quite a bit more than that to stand out in 2014, his style evolved the same way mot of ours has.

Got WIP3 done

Wow dude, keep going! I remember Pate5 being a huge influence on me a long time ago. I've just rejoined Toribash once again after a huge break from it, and seeing Pate5's legacy on the front page of the art section brought a smile to my face.

It looks great! You've definitely got that sketchy style of his, and I love how you used the same colour palette he often used.

Would be awesome if you made a full set out of this. ;)

Very well done, just buying the Pate5 Knight set it's good to see some more of these styles come out
