Hey guys,

I'm having a little trouble with mIRC at the moment. Whenever I try to connect to a server (any server) it keeps repeting Permission Denied. I've made sure its not blocked in my Windows firewall settings but still nothing. I have looked through the IRC tutorial too but that didn't help that much.

Well... I believe it is asia.toribash.com

I tryed that and it still says Permission Denied.

asia.toribash.com & irc.toribash.com both work.

Anyhoo, you should get in touch with one of the IRC ops & make sure that you're not blocked. It's a long shot, but you never know.

I asked for him, apparantly there is no channel bans.

If there is no channel bans then it is probably a server ban.

DecapW: can you get on any other irc servers?

He already said that he can't get on ANY servers. Also if you are banned from a server, you get this

[18:35] -irc.toribash.com- *** You are banned from Toribash IRC (reason)

Well then its not a problem with the server, it is most likely a problem with his firewall or irc client.

@DecapW: try reinstalling mIRC

tried re-installing and checked Firewall settings.
