Toribash 3DS Demake (WIP)
After finding out about Toribash for the Nintendo Wii, I thought it would be funny to homebrew the game onto the Nintendo 3DS-line of consoles. Knowing myself I'm most likely not going to finish this silly little project, so I'll be posting things here as I make progress.
Initial proof of concept
Using the bottom screen to orbit the camera around the world origin, and not much else. How exciting!
Narrowing down the look
Partial game state and joints, prettier world, head textures and outlines to help readability. I have no idea where to go from here...
Making it feel like Toribash
Janky joint hierarchy, attempt at gravity, some ghosts, and even a floor reflection! Still no actual gameplay though, and I'm feeling a bit lost.
