1) It may be your belt/QI.
2) It may be your internet connection.
3) If you have a firewall activated, it may be blocking you access from multiplayer. Deactivate the firewall or remove toribash from the list of programs it's blocking.
Are you joining a server with a belt restriction? What server are you trying to join and what is your belt? It might be that your belt is too high or low for a server.
