There's no harm in trying out commands, they're easily revertible.

In addition to bringing graphics of the game down (via Options), type /opt framerate 60 and /opt fixedframerate 0 in-game.

Or use the option lower frame rate cap.

Klein Bottles only have one surface so they are the easiest thing to clean

Not sure how I screwed it up though, every time I opened the toribash client I had to enter the command each time, I did fix it already tho by re installing the game.

how do you set it at a certain amount?

for me its either /opt fixedframerate 1 or /opt fixedframerate 0
