Dynasty Warriors 4 on the PS2. Played it for most of my youth and for my 19th birthday I bought a new PS2 and Dynasty Warriors 4 disc so I can play it again.

Crash Nitro Kart on the PS2. Played this nowhere near as much as DW4 but still a large part of my childhood, I still have the original disc from 2005 when I got it.

Skyrim on PC. My uncle Justin has recently passed away due to unknown causes the autopsy is still happening. He introduced me to Skyrim at a rough time in my life and he let me play on his space ship computer while he was at work. A game I have played since its release in 2011.

on dw4, have u heard of persona 5 strikers? it's a persona crowd-combat game coming out on steam next month

from wikipedia: The game is a crossover between Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors franchise and Atlus's 2016 role-playing game Persona 5

i dont even know if its good though

Sonic hero's (I didn't finish a certain level because it was too difficult, but the game was dope asf)

Wii sports (best game to ever be released on the wii console. I have no idea why Nintendo won't bring this gem back)

Gta 4 dlc (back in those days where rockstar actually made good dlc instead of milking the shit out of the game. I mainly played the ballad of gay Tony and a bit of the lost and dammed. Bring back yusif amir for the love of God)
[insert generic quotes from certain players]
littlebigplanet 2 will always hold a special place in my heart. maybe it's the nostalgia from playing it all day as a kid after getting home from school everyday. the game really felt limitless.

other than that idk uhhhh skyrim, risk of rain 2, heavy rain, red dead redemption, and ofc toribash. they're all up there

Sonic Heroes, Sonic Generations, osu!

First one gives me an extreme vibe, playing on 1440x900 with great OST's. Casino level was something, that I will never forget.
Second one is the first thing I had on my first Steam account. I don't have much explanation on this one, it was just really cool.
Third one is my best find of 2020, actually. No much on this one too, cool, just cool.
I Love Lil Shine!

Yet Another Goomba Post/Thread
I suppose the nostalgia ones should come first.

1) LF2. I played this game way too often and learned how to do way too much in it. Was pretty chill though. (also thx arctic i remembered the game specifically due to this thread and i can play it again now)

2) Soul Calibur 3. I adored the Chronicles of the Sword story, it was around this time I also found about about "nuzlockes" and used the same principle for it too when I got pretty decent.
Should also sa that the actual main game "Tales of Souls" was always entertaining as well.

3) Dark Cloud. First game i ever played on a demo disk. It became almost a speedrun for myself and my younger brother to always get passed the next door or the next mini boss. We got to be pretty damn efficient at it too.

As for games I would happily call off of work to do right this second if I was handed the game + console (if required).

1) Stellaris. Just Stellaris.

2) Primal, this game came out in 2003, and it was also on a demo disk that I got later on. I couldn't understand the plot, the layouts were confusing, and the enemies were hard to beat. It, like Dark Cloud, gave me something to accomplish without having a certain goal or blockage in front of me. Oddly enough, I can barely remember a thing about the game now. Might be due to the concussion(s) but I think I'll play it again sometime soon.

3) Hard one but I think I'll go with Kenshi. It's my kind of 'Minecraft' really. Quietly hyped for Kenshi 2.

1) Stellaris. Probably my favorite paradox game ever made and I will always come back to it even if i manage to burn myself out for months.
2) Luigis Mansion (Gamecube). This was the first game I ever actually tried to complete but never did. So many fond memories ;~;
3) TLoZ: Wind Waker (Gamecube). First game I actually completed. Probably my favorite zelda game ever and I still listen to the OST to this day.
