This is probably the least mirrored Art piece he's done so far. So I have no idea what you're going on about here.
It isn't uncreative to mirror. It makes your Art look better than it would have been if you only drew on the other side without scale to size compared to the other side.
Veoo, I'd prefer it if you went over some unique shading around that eye so it doesn't look only mirrored around there.
