Golem IV - Rise of MELOG
it’s so easy to tell if your opponent is using a move memory opener and it’s so easy to counter it especially if you know what move he’s going to throw out in competitive play so that’s just stupid in my opinion to use, second I would definitely say sparring, replay making, tricking or whatever the fuck people do now a days does take skill and it’s easy to tell the difference from them and people who use move memory at the start after a couple of frames you see their movements come out pretty wack, nonetheless people just use it cause they’re lazy and it’s a quick click for them that’s fine, I’m still old school myself and like to click all my own moves and especially remember a shit ton of my old moves in boxshu because of how repetitive I’ve done them so many times
A lot of us after playing this game for so many years learned that after an opener (or even without a specific opener) you have to be yourself. I can speak for my self that after the first turn with an opener i literally go relax all and fight how i feel is more comfortable and easy for me. You don't need to memorize preset moves to be good.
I'm sure there's some preset moves that are known for being hysterically overpowered. Contracting your pecs, holding all, and grabbing seem to be a staple of professional Toribash nowadays.
