I am a blue belt, mostly in Judo rooms, some sambo. I have met a few fighters who have almost became my friends in a way. One requirement is filling in the form. You also need to be 2nd Dan Black Belt but you can apply to be an apprentice until you get to 2nd Dan. I don't know if there is anyone willing to mentor you though...
