im trying to make a set for myself and im doing the joints too and i cant find any links to a working model, anyone know one for photoshop or blender that works?

The first thing that comes to my mind is nblx's 3D texturing in which he uses Photoshop&Mudbox in pair.
Tutorial explains quite a convenient way to create textures on a doll, so you might consider using Mudbox instead of Blender.
The link for a Mudbox doll in the original thread is broken but luckily i have the doll model saved: click. My apologies if the model has some textures on it, I'm pretty sure I was playing around with these files some years ago.
