He said yes! And we got a private room and started experimenting. Totally not gay. After we figured out how to shovel, we started testing some counters.

I wont upload ishi's counter cause it didn't work... at all.

Then I tried my decap counter.
It didn't really work. So we pretended that it never happened.

Then we tried some rounds of no grab.

Apparently in both those replays we did about 2 shovels each. Thats 4 shovels per replay. It was too intense for us so we stopped.

Anyway after that I got ishi'd pretty badly.

shovel test 2 is golden.

The thing with shovel counters is that if you don't do a normal opener on the first turn, it won't come to much use unless you know that your opponent is going to shovel.

I like to experiment with clap as opener. Sometimes a kick after clap works. It forces the foot on the ground to go down. If the shoveler still has power left after your kick attempt, you're kind of screwed.
