Why would we need a download mirror?
If the download works perfectly fine on the site, why take it to another site.

In maybe several years time, when Hampa has moved onto bigger and better things, he may use a download mirror to ensure the guarentee of the download.

As of now; Pointless.

There is a strange caching problem with certain isps that im aware of, and experienced myself. But it isn't affecting the broader community so it would be a waste to pay money to have it posted elsewhere. Also the toribash admins were good enough to rename the file last time and then put it up for download from a different area of the site. So no need really.

people would see toribash on fileplanet and be like hey this sound cool.

Having a mirror would really just give you an alternate download source in case we need it. We really don't.

There is a certain marketing factor to the "up late looking for random crap to download" person who lives for finding random things like that to download. But the downside, is that with multiple versions, it'd have to be updated frequently, and it might get the wrong kind of attention, boards being swarmed with newbsters, and the like.

well there could be a more organized multiplayer servers. Like everyone makes their server with rules or tournies. Updates make the game worthwhile. without updates i would get old of any game
