While playing Blind Fight I had the thought, what if Uke wasn't in the way during opener creation? It would allow for some pretty wacky openers, but it may also step too far outside the bounds of real gameplay and introduce too much randomness / anti-competitive play. Still, if you've tried it out internally or do in future I'd be interested hear about it.
I felt that having no Uke in front of you during opener creation only makes it harder to estimate potential fights' outcome as you don't see whether your hits connect (at least against an idling opponent). And while you may be able to create wackier openers with no opponent in front of you, it ultimately doesn't matter once your opener gets matched against the opponents.

I appreciate that the game is still being worked on, amazing that Atmos made it into the base game.
Would like to 2nd the realism mod idea, I think it's the absolute biggest thing holding the game back currently. The base game is good, has insane depth, and there's definitely plenty of customizations (maybe too many, but whatever) but visually it's just poison, it's fully unimmersive next to any modern game, cartoonish or not.
I think a lot of people was hoping for this with TB Next, and I understand the engine isn't ready for it, but regardless, it would be what any sane player has been longing for since like 2012. More realism to our in-depth fighting game, please
