I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of fake-60fps animation.
All it does is warp edges around to make it "smoother". It also makes some animations lose some of its charm.

i agree with this, it really sucks, it kills the whole point of animating it with different techniques

yeah, interpolation is very awkward, but it's not just the "in between frames", I feel like when it's hand animated it looks much more natural than what the ai is capable of.
Still preffer 12-24fps animations tho

interpolated scenes also make fast paced movements and effects look like weird blobs. its kinda funny to look at sometimes
